Update: February 4th, 2004

We're pleased to say that we've won our day in court.  The case of "Funkus Brody v. Baseball Head-Man" was found in our favor by a jury of our peers this past Friday.  The judge ended the proceedings with an admonition to Baseball Head-Man: "Let this be a lesson to you, and to all who roam the streets in the dark watches of the night dressed in baseball mascot outfits, that the good people of this country will not abide your verbal tauntings, in particular the one you issued to Funkus Brody this past October 25th,
which I will now recite for the edification of the rapt audience of dozens that even now throng this court room. 'You think I look dumb?  You're the dummy, Mr.  Dumbface!'"

The judge has set bail at $10,000,000.

Despite these hardships, the Funkii are pleased to report that recording will wrap up by the end of February.  This month will begin with some sax recording, to be followed by string and brass recording towards mid-month.

This is a very exciting milestone, and the Funkii hope you share their excitement in completing this stage of production.

If you don't then the Funkii issue this warning:  "Beware the Baseball Head-Man!"
