Who is this little guy, and why is he so doggone handsome?

He's a Ten Millionaire, provided courtesy of our good friend, Scott Wegner.  This and other designs will soon be available on our merchandise page.  Stay tuned for additional information!

We've gotten a lot done.  Sax maestro Jon Hegel stopped in to lend even more of his musical magic to several songs.  Tim Steele tamed the bass parts for the last un-bass-ified tunes over the course of several visits.  We can't thank these guys enough for the innumerable tasty bits they've contributed to the many tunes.

Another big thank you goes out to everyone else who has lent their talents to the project.  You guys deserve special treatment from society at large... if you know what I mean...
You might say we've finished (really and truly) all the initial recording of everything... except...

...we still have our ambitious recording sessions with real brass and strings ahead of us.  Once finished, we'll have at last placed the keystone in the Funkus arch, whereafter all temporary supports will be removed and children of all ages will be free to pass beneath its broad and breezy heights.  Not making sense, am I?  Perhaps you should lower your expectations.

Don't forget to take a look at the recently updated "Evolution of a Song" which features a couple of new song samples ("Funkus" and "Walking Upstairs In An Elevator") for your edification.

Lastly, it should be mentioned that we've distributed a handful of "preview" copies of the album to some friends who, we hope against hope, will brave the 55 minute runtime of our compilation to share their comments with us.  Our sincere thanks goes out in advance for their generous contribution of time and brain-power.
